As part of our April 16 Biologists’ Day celebrations, posters prepared by our students were evaluated by faculty members. Guided by their academic advisors, the students’ projects were carefully reviewed in terms of scientific content and presentation quality.
Following the evaluations, three posters were selected for awards:
The first prize was awarded to the poster titled “Biomimetics”, prepared under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zeynep Karahaliloğlu and presented by Mevlütkaan Emekli and Berk Aysay.
The second prize went to the poster titled “Osteoporosis”, prepared under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mehmet İlker Doğru and presented by Senanur Özuzun and Zainab Alfatayh.
The third prize was awarded to the “CRISPR-Cas9” poster, prepared under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Kamile Öztürk and presented by Edanur Tutkun and Semanur Kökoğlu.
The event provided an important platform for students to engage with scientific research, showcase their original ideas, and gain experience working with academic mentors. At the end of the competition, certificates of appreciation and prizes were presented to the winning students.
